Eat to the Beat has had another great summer season in the USA. We have been the in-house caterers at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, located in Washington, Maryland since 2010. Being an in-house caterer at a venue basically means that we deliver catering for artists, management teams and production crews, along with any corporate and private events held within the venue. We have also delivered catering in other venues in DC, Washington.
This summer saw a core team of Eat to The Beat crew tackle some amazing events. The team was headed up by Soozie Coll with other staff such as Richard Huggins, Robin Hogue and Derek Meyers in the mix. We kickstarted our season at the Merriweather Post Pavilion with the M3 Festival where crew served over 900 meals across this weekend. Other events at the venue included comedian Bert Kreischer, American pop rock pop band Imagine Dragons, along with The Killers.
As well as working with the band in the UK and across Europe we also catered for rock band Slipknot at the CFG Bank Arena, Baltimore this summer. Ten Eat to the Beat crew travelled to Baltimore to provide an ‘awesome’ service to the crew and artists; serving over 250 meals a day across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There was also a massive event for “Queen of Rap” Nicki Minaj which we were thrilled to be part of. Taking place at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC this September, Soozie and the rest of the Eat to The Beat team were catering for crew and artists from breakfast to aftershow. Serving just shy of 500 meals on the day whilst providing dressing rooms, it was a challenge, but nothing that ETTB couldn’t handle!
Bring on Summer 2025 in the US, with hopefully even more shows to add to our line-up!
