For 2026, the GTL Sessions headed to Higuerón Hotel Málaga. Our Event Directors, Kim Joyce and Olivia Morris attended, joining more than 40 new tour managers and other touring suppliers for a packed programme designed to spark discussion, share experience and strengthen relationships across the live touring world.
Mornings began with Sustenance Sessions including running, swimming, tennis and yoga, followed by breakfast and a full schedule of Symposia Sessions, Speed + Sync meetings, breaks, lunches and evening networking dinners.
A highlight for Eat to the Beat was the Fuelling the Machine Symposia Session, which featured Lei-Lana Er, Dr Shannon McEwen and our very own Olivia Morris. The session explored the role food, nutrition and wellbeing play in keeping touring teams performing at their best, a subject that sits right at the heart of what we do.
Touring is demanding. Long days, changing schedules, tight turnarounds and constant travel all take their toll, so the importance of properly fuelling artists, production teams and crew cannot be overstated. For Eat to the Beat, being part of this conversation was a valuable opportunity to share insight from decades of experience in artist, production and crew catering across the music, entertainment, film and TV industries.
The wider programme also included sessions such as Dua Lipa: Radical Optimism, Roadies Roundtable, Breaking the Code of Touring, It’s Not Just All Rock ’n’ Roll and The Leadership Pyramid, each offering a different perspective on the realities, challenges and evolution of life on the road.
Alongside the Symposia Sessions, the Speed + Sync meetings gave both sides the chance to discuss what works, what could be improved and how suppliers can better support touring parties at every level.
For Kim and Olivia, GTL Sessions Europe 2026 was a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new industry colleagues and contribute to discussions that matter to the future of touring. Events like this are a reminder that behind every successful tour is a network of people and providers working together to keep things moving, often under pressure.
Eat to the Beat has always understood the importance of looking after people on the road. Whether catering global tours, one-off shows, festivals, film and TV productions or dressing room riders, our holistic approach to service and creating a home away from home remains the same.
GTL Sessions Europe 2026 was a valuable few days of insight, collaboration and connection and we were thrilled to be part of the conversation.
